Photography

When I was nine years old, my uncle Wyn, who was a professional photographer, bought me a Brownie Hawkeye, a simple Kodak camera. He encouraged me by commenting on my photographs and taught me to develop and print in our apartment bathroom.

I was hooked and wanted to spend my life telling stories as a photographer. But there was a twist and I went into film and spent over twenty years as a professional cinematographer.

Now, I enjoy taking images for myself and others, unplugged from a commercial imperative.

I hope you will enjoy these continuing postings of photographs. – Paul
